The near future. Thanks to the Universal Key — an artifact accidentally found on Planet Earth, people managed to open a window onto Route of the Worlds, the transport artery of the Universe that unites endless worlds. But every such opportunity comes at a price.

Two friends — Route of the Worlds explorers — undergo a series of adventures. Each episode sees the duo in another unusual world or comic situation, where their friendship is constantly tested. Hot on their heels are the thief Astra and the villainous Trianguloid who want to seize power over the Route with the help of the Key.

Project is performed in frame-by-frame hand-drawn 2D-animation in 4K resolution.

Two full episodes are ready and will be available later this year.

Goals of the project:

To tell an unusual and fascinating story of friendship and mutual aid during a grandiose fantastic journey, show how varied and different the worlds and their laws of existence can be. The series touches upon the themes of finding one’s place in the world, adulting, developing your own worldview, entertaining the viewer at the same time.
Make fun of the popular science fiction clichés, with emphasis on humor and well-thought laws of the universe described.
Avoid black-and-white on-the-nose characters. There will be no absolutely evil or good heroes. Each of them pursues their own goals, has doubts, makes mistakes, shows compassion and on the contrary can be harsh and rude.
