"Spacebadminton" — adventure TV show for kids, that combines entertainment, sport theme and detective plot. Story takes place at galactic badminton championship. I am co-author of show concept and it`s visual design. First pilot episode (11 minutes length) was created in 2017.
Animation of the pilot episode was produced in Flash CC, backgrounds were drawn in Photoshop.

Season of the show is been preparing for production on Souzmultfilm studio.

Pilot episode

Pilot episode was made in the end of 2017. Max and Sonya find themselves at the spacebadminton championiship. 

Episode #2 — "Wizard in the golden hat"

2nd episode tells how Volant tries to cheat in the championiship, applying "speed teaching course" to Max.

Episode #3 — "Treasures of the Catterpellar planet"

3rd episode was produced in new story conception, excluding sport theme at all. Max and To-Ho went to desert planet to find some treasures.

Main characters

Max is the son of the best badminton player of planet Earth. Max tries to find any evidences of his father`s disappearance. Max is stubborn, absent-minded but perspective sportsman. 

Sonya is Max`s neighbour, she occasionally got to Badminturn together with him. She is self-confident and cheeky, often getting in to troubles because of her impatience.

Volant — professional badminton couch. He is some bit shrewish and tiresome, but always does his best. Racket —Volant`s fellow worker, she is joyful, good-natured and some bit naive.

Victor Sorokin — best badminton player of planet Earth, author of the most rapid badminton hit in the Galaxy.

To-Ho — clumsy and naive sportsman from Urup planet. He dreams to defend his planet`s honour on the championship.

Zit — mysterious champion with very bad reputation. He is often suspected in cheating but nobody  has proven anything yet.

Flux — pirate and venturer. He is greedy, sly and insolent.

Show takes place on sport-planet Badminturn, where championiship is held. There are a lot of different courtes, hideouts, deserts, sport-buildings.

Creation process

Project was started in 2013 as a bible for further developing. The main idea was to put common sport in unusual conditions. First drafts of characters and locations were created to find resources for the pilot episode.
